Something About Mary

It’s about the lifestyle

GH Mtn and harbor

I don’t just sell houses. I connect people to the community and a specific lifestyle.

I have lived in the Puget Sound region my entire life, now residing in Gig Harbor. As I’ve gotten older I realize how blessed I have been to call this place home and to live in a community where the natural beauty is matched by the beauty of the people.

I see myself as a proud representative of the great Northwest….often a cheerleader of sorts. Blogging is one way I share some of the day-to-day experiences of life in Gig Harbor and the South Puget Sound with those new (and old) to the region.

You will not just be buying a home here, you will become part of the lifestyle and community. I’m warning you….you will be pinching yourself soon. You won’t believe you live in such a wonderful place!

The process

Buying or selling a home can be a process that brings on all kinds of emotions – excitement, frustration, anticipation, fear, pride. Anyway you look at it, the process can be an emotional roller coaster. During one of the biggest transactions in your life it is good to have a professional REALTOR® by your side guiding you every step of the way.

I consider myself your partner in your real estate transaction. I don’t make the decisions for you, but rather educate you on the information you will need to make the best decision possible for you and your family. I draw from my extensive business background in human resources and materials management. I know how to negotiate and communicate in the interest of my clients. I also know how to listen and identify your needs. My expertise can help you relax, confident that your home purchase or sale will be timely, ethical and handled with your best interests in mind.

About me

DSC_0027

I enjoyed a 20+ year career in human resources and materials management at BFGoodrich Aerospace, StairMaster and Milgard Windows. Although I thrived in the corporate world, I always dreamed of “being out on my own” and having a more balanced life of work and community service. I achieved that dream in 2005 when I joined RE/MAX….and I have never looked back.

My days are now filled with clients looking to buy or sell homes throughout the South Sound Region. But because of my flexible schedule I am also able to contribute directly to the community. I am heavily involved with the Gig Harbor Midday Rotary club, and will be serving as President 2014-15. This has connected me with several youth programs at Gig Harbor High School, specifically advising the Interact Service Club and hosting an exchange student from Chile. I am also involved with the Gig Harbor Downtown Alliance, and have served on the Steering Committee for their annual Food and Wine Festival since its inception.

My husband, Geoff, and I have been married for nearly 30 years. Our two grown sons live nearby, as do many, many family members. Did I mention I am one of ten children?!

So give me a call. Let me know what your needs are, and I’ll be happy to help.
